Joe, when did you join NotLost?

I joined in February 2019, fresh and excited to start my new journey after travelling for a number of years.  

What’s your favourite thing about working for a tech start up?

Its dynamic and agile. Your voice gets heard and your ideas can be implemented across different arms of the company. Using technology, we can solve problems in a numbers of ways and the challenge is to find the most efficient and customer focused solution.

How would you describe what NotLost does to someone who has never heard of it, in a nutshell?

We consult with organisations to help streamline and efficiently manage their lost property process. For each organisation we can ensure they save time whilst also providing fantastic customer service.

What’s been the best customer service experience you’ve had in the last 5 years?

My luggage unfortunately didn’t make it on a layover between Hong Kong and Vietnam. Cathay Pacific were on hand however and even delivered my bags to my hostel!

What’s an attraction/event you would recommend visiting on a weekend off?

I would recommend Kew Gardens. Year round it’s a beautiful place to visit from the lights at Christmas, the changing colours in autumn and all the new flowers blooming in Spring.  A definite must visit!

What’s the most interesting piece of lost property you’ve come across?

I’m afraid that its actually rather boring, I found a wallet and handed it into the police.
